Also I would only run it on nightmare and I wouldn't reset it until you have a nearly complete build of and you don't think youre getting stronger on that playthrough.
Also if you have an accessory equiped that boosts exp gained for a specific skill. It will work with skill book. For example I had the spice shaker from nameless village inn girls dowry that increases cooking exp. And I got 3600 exp instead of 1800 per book.
Furthermore, I wish it had a set number of floors instead of indefinite. Like 50 Floors total and you get a special reward for clearing all 50 would have been cool. Perhaps a Trait like "Tower Master" or something but with the current iteration it's just Copium.
Right now it is good for resetting passives on NPC, albeit with ridiculous prices.
Without mods it's trash.
