As for mana, helping the old herbalist in nameless village by giving him the magical orange mushroom that increase max mana ( you find it in the left side of the forest ), he will give you a manual that regen mana per turn. As soon as you get this manual, mana becomes a non-issue and you can spam spells left and right.
Couple this with high speed, so you get several turns in between ennemies attack, and you can regen great amounts of mana and health.
The perk in the "wind" tree allowing you to get a extra free turn of movement after each action is also invaluable, as it trigger the passive regen as a normal turn, allow you to hit & run and make you play faster next turn as you can only use "rest", which makes you start sooner in the time gauge.
additionnally, there is a legendary perk you can select at start that double all health and mana regen, to increase the effect further.
There are some accessories (i.e., brocade handkerchief, mind-clearing jade ring) that will somewhat offset your used MP, at the cost of one accessory slot. However, both only restore 50MP.
If you attempt to swap between Nine Provinces to regain MP and Infinity Manual to reflect damage during the extra turn, the game may crash.
