Need help! Just lost all achievements for some reason and all homestead progress?

I logged in to my steam deck and lost all achievements. I still have my saves but all achievement progress is gone. Steam says i have unlocked 111/147 but the in game points dont reflect and all the achievements that i have unlocked are now grey. Please help anyone. I spent sooo many hours playing.

achievement save file is SaveObjectGameGlobal.save

If someone overwrites their own file, then they get all of the same achievements. You can test it by renaming that file. If you try to start a new game, you'll have 0 achievements done.

It happened to me too, but after a power shortage happened. My normal saves were still there, but all my achievements and all the homestead upgrades were gone.

no idea. You can probably test it easily by just renaming files and see if everything goes missing or not. Just make sure to rename it back after.

yes, all my lore and achievements are gone, can't start NG+ with a bonus point at all, this is a game breaking bug since they introducing the new protag sprite patch, and the hotfix patch after that somehow made it worse for some reason.

as someone suspected before, I think they added script to auto rewrite the achievement to fix some bugs, but somehow it doesn't work as intended and keep overwriting our save with blank Global save file.

what made worse this bug doesn't just affect our achievement and lore, but the homestead too because they all in same folder which keeps rewriting over and over, our cross save Legendary items too gone as well.

I'm a bit embarrassed about that since I kinda cheese it. It can only be unlocked on 22nd June 2023 (on the day of Chinese Dragon Boat Festival). The next one will fall on 10th June 2024, probably would also unlock the same event.

It's a string of event where you'll have to talk to any restaurant owner NPCs, answer a few riddles, and go to Lin'an Port to initiate the dumpling fighting event. You'll get legendary tier food (dumpling) and the achievement. The NPC at the port will disappear after the specific date.

I found out about it later and changed my computer date to 22nd June to unlock that.
