She is in the building to the right of the map, where her brother, Ling Hongxuan is standing.

I've read that you need to quarrel with the brother when you first met for the door to open. Alternatively, you can join the Confucius sect for the door to open.

damn...so if you finish his story and recruited him there is no way of opening the door if you are in the old man sect?
