How to leave old man sect?

I want to join langya sword pavilion but i cant leave the old man sect. I thought i can just join him and then leave after i qualify for the langya sword sect. Please help

you should restart and never join him....

You can leave after talking with the confucius sect master quest and unloading him in nameless village.

You only get one chance to join the old man's sect. You can join other sects once you've completed the old man's sect quest line.

This is not true for the other way round. You can't join any other sect only to come back to the old man. Unless you use an exploit.

Can you even join Langya? I read on Darkshinto's guide that it becomes unavailable after joining another sect or leaving Nameless Village. Has that changed in 1.0?

I also read in that Guide that Old Man Sect locks you into that ending and you cant leave?
I thought you had to leave once he waits in Nameless Village for you?
Can you finish his whole questline now and still join other sects afterwards?

You are allowed to leave before eliminating the Nine Province Sect. So you can't complete the entire quest line.

upon reading everyone, i might as well just restart but i grinded so hard already lmfao i might as well just spam sleep and get achievements so my restart can be OP lmao

Sword sect is not a "Sword" sect.
It's "mining" sect T_T

why not a sword sect ? the boss can teach a very powerful sword attack and you can learn how to craft very good swords, and they have some very good swords.

About mining, you don't even need to join the sect to mine there.

one way to leave the old man sect is , at least in the old version, in the ice prison, on the final day when the guy in the ice prison got into trouble, don't help and let him go, then you will be kicked out of the old man's sect. But that's quite far further in the game.

Where to find the old man after leaving his sect? Because after I leave his sect he go outside nameless vilage. But I can't find him when try to look for him to rejoin.

As mentioned in the previous posts, once you leave his sect, you CANNOT rejoin. He and Lao Motou (Chu Kuang Sheng) will be gone forever in the current version.

This is also true for any other sect. Once you leave any sect, you leave for good in that play through.
