He helps power leveling my entire team, and quickly master manuals.
Edit: If your looking to get stronger without leveling up, and manuals. I just consume Saffron,Ginseng, Knotweed, Lingseng, and Tianshan Snow Lotus to increase my max hp and mp.
My Infinity manual uses alot of mp afterall...
Are passive points come from knowledge?
From the old man sect, once you get locked in the ice prison you can spar with the level 99 cellmate you have. That's how I got to level 100 at least.
I had/have the same issue levelling up as there was no "dungeon" to do it.
The most efficient way i found was to do a world map encounter (because it does seem to scale with your level, or at least give decent), then save once I won, and then reload.
Most of time (50%+) a new encounter appeared at the same place you are, so that you can fight it without needing to move (ie without making the day pass as the the time flies as soon as you travel on the world map)
Yeah, it is fairly late game, I did it around level 72 (I think) on hard with a fairly raw character (only 40 trait n 4 attribute points).
If it is only the MC doing the attacking, as long as you have the hit and run passive, there are a couple of spots in the prison which allows you to avoid Lao Motou's Full Reversal ultimate. Then you just nickel n dime him to death. It just takes a fair bit of time.
With a full team, I got away with it because I was using a combination of seals and attacks which drain spirit. So, not only did I delay him from acting, his spirit was also getting drained with each attack. He just couldn't get enough spirit to use his ultimate. But it is slow going with lower level teams.
