omg this is so stupid...I actually want to join Confuc not kill the leader....thanks tho. It seems I will need to end this playtrough faster and just ignore on the next
I do not know why they chose the term "confront" as, in a martial arts game, this term is ambiguous at best. It is a confrontation, I suppose, but does not carry with it the connotation you are lending (understandably) it. You can literally exit the room, walk right back in, and all is right with the world. Said confrontation does nothing to impact your relationship with the Confucian leader or the sect's rating.
Also, when you do meet up with the sect leader, make sure you bring whoever you want to level up to 100 (party wise) with you. Make sure you can hit from a distance (3-4 squares) and have a decent move/speed, so that you can retreat into the bottom left hand corner after each hit. Hopefully this makes no sense now/is not spoiling anything for you, but believe me, you'll be glad you did. Also don't worry about meditating near the slab of ice while you're down there, you can come back to the room later and do this to acquire the special ability. ;) Hope this helps.
*fighting this guy is the quickest way to get to lvl 100. Don't miss your chance.
