Confused on getting both miao caidie and melody house girls

For getting both of this done, do i have to not side with anyone in deserted courtyard?
What i've done is scared Miao Caidie in city away, so i need to side with jiuli tribe to get jiuli tribe location. I did this because i wanted +20 stats from Caidie (in hindsight it was unnecessary), as raising her relation to 100 in lin'an meant i got toxicology +25 in first meeting.
After that, i used fight trick to enter jiuli tribe and did everything fine. However i tried going to melody house and got confused, Yu Wei'er and Gu Qingcheng is not coming out from main hall (at noon), when i checked there is a fight between jiuli tribe and melody house. If i help melody house Yaoqin told me to come back 3 days later, when
she asked me to rescue Yu Wei'er.
Is this a viable path for getting all 4 wives, even if i didn't raise yu wei'er or gu qingcheng relation?
Hope for an advice, considering it's a long save ago when i scared Caidie away.

yes. that's viable.

1. do whatever with Miao in Lin'an. If you scare her, you get 0 toxicology but don't learn jiuli tribe location. It doesn't matter if you learn location or not though. You just need her to leave. You can help the poison lady in the inn, and that causes Miao to leave too.
2. in deserted courtyard, help no one. This will reveal both melody house and jiuli locations.
3. do the fight trick to bypass jiuli. Meet Miao and get stats. Meet jiuli sect boss and raise relationship to max with gifts
3a. (optional) You can also save her and marry her and you get kicked out of jiuli tribe with -75 hate.
4. Do fight trick to bypass melody house. Save them, you get -20 hate for jiuli, but your jiuli relationship is still high so you can still go to jiuli. Melody will ask you to comeback in 3 days
5. you can't go inside the house, but they leave to the forest at night and come back in the daytime. Just gift them when they are outside.
6. do 3a above if not done so yet
7. after coming back to Melody house, they ask you to save Yu'Wei and and do the rest of the melody house quests. Jiuli is hostile already since you saved/married Miao already.

What HoHoHO said above is correct. My additional advice is to not get involve with Melody House at all until you've obtained everything you need from Jiuli Tribe including marrying Miao Caidie. In addition, do not accept any quest from Jiuli tribe leader at all.

If you're going purely for the achievement/unlock, you can save scum--by which I mean, save a game right before you go for Caidie, invite her, marry her, get the achievement, then reload and go for the Melody trio. If you're likewise shooting for the 15 marriages unlock, just make Caidie one of the ones you miss. Otherwise the advice above seems consistent with what I have seen/read.

Thanks guys for the advice. I kind of messed up because i didn't see things correctly (in my current playthrough i saved jiuli tribe to unlock their tribe, i tried an old save and not helping anyone in deserted courtyard and it turns out it unlocks jiuli tribe too :/)
Can i ask which time Gu Qingcheng come outside? I only found Yu Wei'er comes out alone at 5 AM

Edit: Found out Gu qingcheng's is noon, about 11 am she will come from the forest

I messed up by accepting to pass onto the letter from the juli leader... Don't do that.. that is about the only thing you can't do. The rest is quite straightforward

On the upside, the game very much encourages you to enjoy subsequent playthroughs. My first playthrough I: ignored the old man, declined to join the detective agency, declined to join the sword pavilion, wound up joining Ye army and back-to-backed all of their quests until I was Waaaaaay out of my depth, then bailed on that game and started a new one where I've damn near completed every ending (simultaneously) and have save scummed others, so that I could unlock as many attribute/skills/skill points/gear for my third (and probably final lol) playthrough. If you unlock the right skills to rebuild your character with, any subsequent playthroughs can be very cake-walky, especially if you're not aiming for a higher difficulty.

Damn haha, it looks like Ye and other generals questline are supposed to be endgame by the level of enemies difficulty. Agree with misanthrope, save some gear, get some traits for next run.

Adding additional note to this; I tested #1 with poison lady in Chuxiang Inn. You can help her through "fighting together" which does not reduce relationship with Jiuli AND it does not chase away Miao in Lin'an. I did not bring poison lady with me to Lin'an, and I was prompted the event with Miao to scare her away to get 0 toxicology.

It's a good idea to reassign your teammates and pet into your Homestead before forcing battle. If you get past the guards to safety and retreat, you'll get -2 to your courage.

If you need to exit the compound and re-enter for multiple times, it is a good idea to kill off the guards so that the newly spawned guards will not stop you from entering.

Approach described by funky worked thank you. Was curious if its possible to sneak and loot all Shifa temple books without killing anyone.

I haven't tried it as yet. If you give it a shot, let us know how it turns out! :D I think the instance I'm thinking of was with either the Taoists or the Sword Pavillion. In one case the guards are standing out from the wall where the gate is housed and it is possible to approach them from a right angle/behind them and get through the door. Everyone treats you normally after that, though you will have to sneak back out again if you do not wish to trip the guards.

In shifa you can get inside by banishing the guard, but there is a guard inside the building (4 story library) that have view of the entrance and whole room..thats the issue.
