Is there No Ending for Duke Qi or Duke Chai?

Both seems at least far more reasonable than Duke Kang or the Foreign Duke.

Are there no endings for them?

I feel so stuck with duke Chai , if you go through Ye family to investigate the rebellion you do not meet the butler while gathering evidence

Which is a good outcome in itself, because otherwise his hand got amputated/melted off after he helped you to gather evidence, and the other lady also get a bitter-sweet ending.

Actually, you do. If the butler helped you to gather evidence, he would be tortured and lost his hand. As a result, he would not be able to fulfill his childhood dream of playing the zither. As a parting gift, he would give you the legendary zither named "Lingering".

It's a tough choice to make.

The game is based on Chinese history during Song Dynasty, and Duke Kang was the emperor in actual history, so that's probably why.
