Masked Girl and Constable Mutually exclusive if you pick a side?

At the start of the game, you encounter Hua Qingqing and Luo Quanxue. I remember being told by someone in an old discord server that there is unique dialogue if you recruit both of them. However, if i recall correctly they also mentioned that you need to ignore both of them and leave the initial altercation without picking a side. Before I get to far myself, I was wondering if picking a side does lock you out of the other? I'm interested in the accessories one of them give, and getting that early internal art but don't want to be locked out of recruiting both of them.

I haven't actually done it, but it shouldn't be a problem even if you pick a side at the start.
Pick one of the two, do ALL the quests of her faction and max her relationship (I don't know if that's enough or if you need to marry her).

At that point you should be able to leave the faction without negative consequences, join the other faction and recruit the other girl.

OR. you tie them both up. then proceed to attack and defeat both of them one at a time. Unlocking the Female Hater character trait, which gives you a sweet 25% damage increase to all women,

I have picked Hua QingQing at the start of the game and can confirm it does not lock you out for either of them. There are some unique dialogues (bickering among the two of them), it happens when you invite one of them into your party, while the other is already in the party.
