How to ... ?
1) get more cooking recipe ? I notice i can buy alot of cooking material but i just cant process them.
2) get more xp after high level, like lv60+ ? the best creature to farm xp is from tiger so far
3) get proper permission to get through "west pass", without killing those guards ?

thanks.

1. The cooking recipes are in a variety of places, some you get by trading with NPCs (try the people who you think might be related to food like butchers or inn keepers), some are at sects (shifa temple cook), I'm pretty sure I've gotten a couple from quests, probably some in chests too. It's not really worth it looking for them.

2. Honestly I have this issue too, the highest I've gotten is lvl 70 so far even after like 300 days into nightmare mode. Sparring can give you decent xp, but that only takes you so far at once a day, you can get combat books from Ye battalion but those only work up to lvl 50, and there is always meditation but that can take forever. If anyone has any tips for levelling from 50-100 I'd love to hear it.

3. You need to get permission from the two Dukes at two of the cities. I think there are various conditions that allow you to get their permission, being a scholar is I think one, maybe having high enough fame, or doing quests related to them. I never have an issue with it in my playthroughs so I'm not sure what the trigger is exactly

Firstly, try to pick traits which affects XP gain during character creation.

Second, fastest way to level up is to train with the training guy in each sect. Take note that not all of them give equal amount of XP. Swallow Nest gives 1k XP, but Shifa gives 1.6k XP. With the proper equipment and techniques, you can one shot the training guy. This is faster as you don't have to walk around. Then rest in the sect bedroom to recuperate. You need to tough this out. You will maxed out your level slightly over Day 100+ and further unlock a new trait for your next play through.

Thirdly, while training with the training guy, duel with the sect master every 24 hours. It gives higher amount of XP at higher level duel and relationship point (if you win).

4. Get the ending where you eliminate the six major sects. It will unlock a new trait. By selecting the said trait, you will start the game with Lvl100 in the new play through.

The fastest way to gain exp is, as far as I know, to train at the Ye army camp. Before the main tent where the general is, go left, there is an officer with a bunch of soldiers, you can train there with a group of soldiers of different sizes, if you train with the largest group of soldiers you will get like 4-5k exp with each training session. Going from level 89 to 90 take only 3 such training sessions.

nothing beat the ice prison, problem is you only have 4 game days, you will need to have the ability to move after attack, as any single attack might get you killed.

How is Ice Prison going to help get to 100? Is there a minimum level? What about Ice Prison helps jump levels?

The guy in the Ice Prison Lao, is Level 100. Beating him in a spar will give you like 5-10 Levels per win, beating him will give like 3k EXP on kill.

He's almost impossible for a low level character to beat without cheesing him. He cannot move from his position so you can abuse that trait.

You need to get something that can cause bleed, and have the 2nd move trait from the Wind Passive Tree. Then you can bleed him and run away from his attack range then wait for the bleed to bring him down to like 1 hp, then do the final blow.

You probably wont get to him before reaching Level 50 due to the requirements to reach him

that prisoner in ice prison cant move, as long as you able to move away from his attack range after each attack, you will eventually win.

he offer huge amount of xp, i think before level 90, each fight can level you at least once, even at level 99, you need 2 fights to reach level 100(max).

I have the trait that can move after attack and trait that offer additional damage per move before attack.
