Blade sects
Hello

I'm gonna do a blade character, which sects should I consider joining early on ?
I already know that crime investigation is not that interesting and you are kinda stuck in it for a while
Blue wind camp seems interesting but can you learn much there ?
Is it possible to join Tiger Escort ?
What about the Yan army ?

Is it possible to save Fu Bu Bingwei (the crazy blade guy you fight multiple times) ? in my previous game he jumped after our fight when I spared him and gave me a legendary blade art

its actualy possible to clear the crime bureau at levels as low as level 30, it just has narrow requirements. and some cheese

to complete the evil sect ellimination mission you need access to a strong helper that can kill the enemy sect leaders, if you dont have one already from outside the bureau you can pass Qui Zhimos recruitment challenge by getting the purple inner manual from the chuxiang dojo contest that boosts throwing and get throwing blades, the dirty street old man has some for barter and the nameless elders basement has a chest with them too, the throwing blades apply sealing so you can stunlock and get critis on the throws, the last requirement is to have faster actionspeed than Zhimo so he doent gib you right away, even on a fresh new game without boosts from achivements for char creation two of the starting traits that add action speed along with Wind Talent investment should get you there around level 30.

after you have Qui Zhimo you can stomp one of the evil sects, (remember to buy him a purple officer blade from the bureau merchant, it really boost the damage from one of his arts) I took out the swallows in my run, and Zhimo is also enough help for the last mission and its fight too with careful play (I reccomend having revitilisation manual if you have it learned on some other teammates so they have the heal ability to heal allied npcs.)

in all the Bureau has three purple manuals, one for blades, one for swords, and a purple yang inner manual with a decent damage boost effect. the store sells pruple weapons that may be worth buying daily for a small stock to gift npcs that like those specific weapons. then you just make sure relations are maxed out with your three recruitable buddies along with 100 sect relations before you ditch for a hop. if their insepreable you can still recruit them after leaving the bureau. (may be a bug, dunno if its intentonal)

this applies to easy and normal difficulties, im not sure how feasible it is on higher difficultys

One of the best and easiest blade quest line is the butcher.
Before starting the quest, go to the gambling den and gift the lady owner some wine. Just enough to trade. Then trade the chopper she has with some trash. Now win ~15k from her.
If you have enough skill from a previous play through you can refine the chopper yourself or pay the blacksmith 10k to do it.
Go to the tavern at night, with 10k money and you will hear rumours of the night market. You can get purple food ingredients there, or wherever you deem fit.
Go to the butcher and gift him enough to unlock the quest.
Give him the chopper and recruit him. For 0 fighting, you get one of the best character in game, a good purple blade manual and if you trade him, the purple blade too. This allows you to apply bleeding which will allow you to kill almost anyone early game if you hit and run.

The butcher is definitely excellent. If you progress enough in the game (I think it's a very high fame like 8 or 9, or possibly a level requirement), Fu Bu will send you a pigeon challenging you to a fight to the death.

I am speculating that there is SOME nonlethal outcome for Fu Bu eventually, since one of the mission logs refers to him as a "follower", but I have not found either the nonlethal outcome or a way to recruit him. But I've only been playing on high-heroism runs, and maybe recruiting him takes an evil run.

Honestly winning 15k in gambling is easy, but if you want to end this quest quickly, you can just trade some trash for this blade. It is quite funny that she says that she will sell it to you for 10k, but then settles the trade when you give her some cheap crap.

In Langya Sword Pavilion, you can trade it from Pavilion Master·Jian Chi and get 1 more when you recruit Ou Ye Heng

Nobody mentions the Water Bandits, but there's a Legendary Blade art + the related Legendary Internal if you do their quests to completion.
I don't think it's that much harder than the final fights of the CIB,
