Weird I had walked into and past this spot multiple times thinking it was around here. Thank you. Any idea what's up with the fierce-looking beggar that stands in front of the Dailing city hotel?

He’s supposed to be the teacher of the beggar from nameless village but I’ve not gotten round to see what happens if they meet.
If you kill him you get an internal purple skill that has a chance to refresh your cooldowns. If you give him money many times you get a purple staff skill. I’m not sure if there’s any moral requirements for that.

Opps, you’re right. Staff, not manual

This beggar is also probably a member of nine sects. I do not remember then it happened, but in one of the encounters with nine sects he appeared with them and was fighting alongside them, or at least it was another beggar named “fierce-looking beggar”. Considering that in wuxia novels where are usually nine sects one gang, and that gang is beggars gang, I believe that he is indeed a member of nine sects.

He absolutely is. Though Nine sects is the baddies sect. If you check the relationships section you’ll see him in there, along with the fake Taoist and some poison old lady and a “singer”. All depends on how far you’ve progressed and on which story line.
