For me personally, s1 tends to force me to reconnect often,
s0 not as often,
s3 almost never - but when it does, reconnect might take ALOT of time. Probably some unusual routing problem.
Frankly, I don't remember ending on s2 automatically - nor selecting manually...
From an IT troubleshooting perspective, if you change 3 different server connections and are still having issues, chances are it's your own internet connection or ISP that's having problems.
Got any clues on to which addresses I can do traceroute, to go and harass my ISP with its outcomes afterwards?
Definitely try the discord. Probably one of the better places to ask for help.
Telepathy.
I genuinely am trying to not be as abrasive as usual, however, an attempt to maintain the dialogue just to reroute the opponent to Discord is... ugh...
(not mentioning that initial message of mine was not about seeking help but about the game disregarding my explicit server choice AND adding to current in-theme knowledge pool)
Honestly the jump from 'this person has issues with the servers' to 'this person's ISP is so terrible he can't use discord' is a pretty huge jump in conclusions no one would make if properly troubleshooting.
Unfortunately, the discord happens to be where the more helpful people are, because if you read the Steam discussions, it's usually only full of angry entitled people.
And if it is a fact that your ISP is bad enough that you can't use discord, then you've probably discovered the answer to the issues. Maybe the first step would be to ask your ISP about why the connection won't let you on to something as basic as discord.
Unfortunately I never had a chance to get needed degree to even diagnose that. So I'll abstain from even making assumptions.
To get things straight, Discord have some prejudice against both my IP sub-net and my mobile phone number.
Further details would be probably more appropriate in relevant Discord support inquiry, not in a theme about frequent disconnects which I'm not the only person experiencing.
Unless, by any chance, you are Discord Customer Support representative.
It's probably too much to expect any further advancements in positive directions here by now so I'm moving to other projects.
This steam forum is dead but this game's discord has a lot of people and not a single disconnect issues were being reported in the last week or so.
