We will conduct maintenance and updates from 9:00 to 14:00 on May 16th (UTC+8).
New matches cannot be started after 9:00, but matches started before 9:00 will be settled as normal.

To celebrate the new season, every player logging in for the first time after the update within a week will receive 1000 Spirit Stones via email.


A. Rank points reset
· Below 3000: points remain unchanged.
· 3000-9000: 3000 + (previous points - 3000) / 2
· Above 9000: Reset to 6000 points.

B. Dao Mindset score reset
· At the beginning of the next season, all characters' Dao Mindset scores will reset to 3000 ( points below 3000 also reset to 3000, details in Dao Mindset adjustments below).

C. Season Rewards
· At the end of the Life Shop season, reaching 2500 or more Dao Mindset scores with any character will earn the exclusive season-themed "Shades of Morality" avatar, avatar frame, and Honorific title (sent via email).

D.Leaderboard of Rank Mode
· The list of top 100 will be announced on Steam news.

E.Leaderboard of Dao Mindset Mode
· The final rank of each character's Dao Mindset list can be viewed in the game by clicking 'Life Shop' in Dao Mindset Leaderboard.


Each major stage now offers rewards, claimable in your profile. These rewards reset every season along with rank points.

If your points meet the requirement of a certain stage, you can claim the season stage rewards immediately.




Pre-season event

The pre-season of the Cycle of Fate season will take place from May 16th to May 30th.    During the pre-season, You can play the new character "Ye Mingming" and the new side job "Fortune Teller". You can also gradually know and experience the new season's mechanism "Fate Branches" through the Reforging Fate event.

The new season mechanisms "Fate Branches" and Dao Mindset mode will officially start after the pre-season ends, which is on May 30th.

*Ji Fangsheng will be available in June.

Reforging the book of Fate

You can participate in Reforging Fate once per day and receive 100 Spirit Stones each time from May 16th to 23rd.

During each Reforging Fate session, you can choose a sect (or the general) to view 3 random Fate Branches. Then you can decide whether to record them in the Book of Fate or not.

On May 24th, the top 72 Fate Branches with the highest recording rates in the Reforging Fate event (16 for each sect, 8 the general) and those with recording rates above 50% will be implemented as the first batch of selectable Fate Branches in the game. The remaining Fate Branches will be added after revision or modification on May 30th.
    
We plan to introduce more unique and special Fate Branches in the middle of the season. Stay tuned!


Season Mechanism: Fate Branches
The Fate Branches is the exclusive mechanism for the Cycle of Fate season.

At the start of each game's first round, each players can choose one from "My Fate, My Choice" and three random Fate Branches to take effect. Most Fate Branches will influence random factors in the game, making the future more controllable or unpredictable.

"My Fate, My Choice" is the general Fate Branch with the effect of refreshing Immortal Fate once each time you break through a phase. If not refreshed, it provides an additional exchange card chance.

Fate Branches have the following five categories:

1. Fate: These branches ensure that specific Immortal Fates will appear when breaking through phases during the game, making the future more controllable. They are suitable for players seeking stability.
    
2. Omen: These branches ensure that certain cards will appear in Daoist Rhyme Omen, making the future more controllable. They are also suitable for players seeking stability.
    
3. Mastery: These branches increase the number of certain cards in the card pool but do not guarantee drawing these cards. They slightly enhance stability but are more focused on increasing the probability of lv3 cards in late game, boosting the cap of certain combos. They are suitable for players who don't need too much stability but seek risk and opportunities.
    
4. Esoteric: These branches introduce special cards not typically found in the regular card pool. Due to their limited quantity, there's a risk of not drawing them, but when drawn, they can create unique and uncommon combo. They are suitable for players who trust their luck and seek risk and opportunities.
    
5. Special: These branches have unique effects that alter the normal gameplay of the game, offering a different experience for players.

D.New seasonal exclusive general Immortal Fate "Additional Side Job"   

 "Additional Side Job" is a seasonal exclusive universal Immortal Fate. There is a chance for it to appear each time you breakthrough a phase.

Its effect is to choose a side job, and add cards of that side job at Foundation/Virtuoso/Immortality/Incarnation Phase or above to the draw card pool.
You can repeatedly choose the same side job to increase the number of specific cards in your card pool.

Note: This season introduces several effects that add cards to the card pool. However, it does not allow drawing cards above your current phase. Cards added to the card pool are only drawable when you reach the corresponding phase.

Destiny Damage Formula Adjustment  

After the closing of the Life Shop, the base Destiny Damage will be increased by 1, and the maximum additional Destiny Damage caused by life difference will also be increased by 1.
    
This means that the Destiny Damage in each battle will be increased by 1-2 compared to before.


Seasonal Rewards Adjustment and Seasonal Dao Seal 

At the end of the "Cycle of Fate" season, seasonal rewards will be distributed based on the highest achieved rank points:
· Seasonal Avatar (3000 and above)
· Avatar Frame (4000 and above)
· Honorific Title (5000 and above)

Additionally, players who reach the ranks of Jin Immortal (4000), Daluo Jin Immortal (5000), or Daoist Immortal (6000) will receive seasonal Dao Marks (permanent) based on their highest achieved immortal

The Dao Mindset mode will open to players on May 30 after the pre-season ends.

The unlock condition for the Dao Mindset mode is adjusted to 3000 points in the Rank Mode. All characters will start with 3000 Dao Mindset scores . Achievements and character titles unlocked at 3000 Dao Mindset scores previously are adjusted to unlock at 3500 (already unlocked achievements are not affected).

If your rank points is 6000 points or higher, then when you use a character whose Dao Mindset scores are below 4000, you will receive an Amplification: doubling the gains or losses of Dao Mindset points after each battle, enabling faster progress towards an appropriate Dao Mindset score.

Starting this season, "Random Characters" will have separate Dao Mindset scores and leaderboards. Matches played with "Random Characters" in the Dao Mindset mode will no longer affect the Dao Mindset score of the original character.


Weekly Leaderboard Dao Seal：The top 100 players on the Dao Mindset leaderboard will receive the weekly Leaderboard Dao Seal for that character (regardless of rank) on every Monday at 0:00. The seal will remain valid until Sunday at 24:00 (UTC+8).

Monthly Leaderboard Dao Seal：The top 100 players on the Dao Mindset leaderboard will receive the monthly Leaderboard Dao Seal for that character (the top 10 rankings will be noted) on the 1st of each month at 0:00. The seal will remain valid until 24:00 (UTC+8) on the last day of the month.

Season Leaderboard Dao Seal：The top 100 characters on the Dao Mindset leaderboard for each character will receive the seasonal Leaderboard Dao Seal (the top 3 rankings will be noted as 1st, 2nd, 3rd; rankings 4-10 will be noted as top 10; the rest will be noted as top 100) at the end of the season. The seal will be permanent.
