Trasfering stuff to ships
How do I load a ship in orbit with resources and other good? I want to start a new colony but can figure out how to reload my starting ship with the stuff I need.

You need to fly your spaceship right above your spaceport or transfer dock and then you can either just click one of the slots in the spaceship or there should also be a small transfer icon in the bottom right of the spaceship UI
