How often do traveling carts come?

I only need a map to finish my cardopedia and I'm not sure how to get the travelling cart to come. Is there some specific way to spawn it, or is it just purely random.

every even moon after moon 8 (?) there is a 10% chance of it spawning

I think it should have an increasing chance of spawning after every failed possibility. First game I went through it didn't come until I beat the demon as it came on moon 30. I also think it should be guaranteed to come on the 8th moon and randomly thereafter.

I'm at moon 134. Never saw the travelling car XD I'm thinking about starting a new run, just so I can at least have some kind of challenge while I'm trying to get that last achievement ^^'

And I confirm that it's how it work, I finally got it at moon 138 :D

You just have to tease the RNG gods by telling how unlucky you are on a public space, and they give it to you, just to make you wonder WHY you said that at all. XD

in my complete runthrough i had like 5 i think, they usually just give ♥♥♥♥ though

Perhaps a minimum protection mechanism could be added, such as increasing the chance of its occurrence by 2% each day until it appears. And then the probability goes back to 10%, and it starts adding up again.
