I cant make a road
i have 4 bricks and a vilalger why cant i make it

Once you have the road builder there's a selection menu at the top of the screen where you can toggle between "normal mode" and "road building mode". The game doesn't tell you about it, so it's easy to miss.

because the recipe does not call for a villager, it specifically needs a builder.
