What is the difference between Mess Hall and the new Hotpot card?
The descriptions look very similar. I haven't used Hotpot myself but am familiar with Mess Hall. How does Hotpot differ from it?

The Hotpot saves card space as it uses up the food you add to it in order to increment its food value, and it can hold up to 50 food within, so instead of a stack of 25 Carrots you can add them to the Hotpot to have only 1 Card for 50 food.

On the island, does food become bad in the hotpot?

Something to test. Ill try it when I next play Stacklands.

Too bad that the hotpot does not seem to give the well fed buff. A frittata from the mess hall does give the buff while a frittata put in the hotpot does not. To increase working speed the mess hall seems to be the better option. If working speed is not of importance use the hotpot.

Even funnier: the hotpot itself goes bad and becomes goop.
