How works the Wishing Well?

What can i do with that? Have 5 Wishes, but how can i use?

I don't know but at like 10 wishes I say "does this wishing well even work", so I think you need to put more in it for it to do something.

It is either not implemented yet or it is a literal money drain.

At present, the wishing well is a trap, which will only absorb 100 gold coins from you, and the function may be developed later

I trained monkeys on a desert island to be titans of industry. After much toil, I finally managed to make a bottle of water and ship it back on a boat so I could craft the Wishing Well. I threw hundreds of coins at it thinking it was actually going to grant me wishes. Turns out, it is simply a Dustbin for coins. Thanks game.

Yeah I'm glad I looked it up on the wiki before I even got close to making one. It's just a dustbin for coins, total waste at this time. Will something be done in the future with the DLC coming out? No one knows.
