Charcoal instead Glass from Stove and Campfire

Hi, Since I discovered Charcoal on the island, I am not able to craft any Glass.
Everytime I put Wood + Sand on either a Campfire or Stove, I am only getting Charcoal.
I tried putting it on in different order, etc., reloaded, but to no avail.
Anyone else has/had this issue?

You have to put sand + wood into the SMELTER, happened to me as well earlier :)
