has any one defeated the new demon lord

i have killed the regular demon many times with my 24 men strong army and i am thinking off killing the last boss should i? I defeated the witch a while ago

Can you share some advice? I just bought this game after watching some youtube channels about the new content . After trying a couple of times, i checked some Videos on how to fight the Demon and they were significantly easier ( especially since there als are e.g. Speedruns...) . Then i read, that it got somehow brokenly harder now due to stun damage.

I read advices about golden chestplates and such, but gold is a total RNG if at all you can get enough to equip the whole army before you can get to the island.

And for going to the isalnd ... you need to kill the demon for the rowboat ..... meh.

Kind of frustrating grinding through again and again and simply being wipped of the Board even with all ninjas with chain armor etc...

You can make a Rowboat with Iron Bar and Plank without killing Demon.

Yeah, I'd 100% recommend just creating the boat and going to the Island before killing the Demon. It feels a little cheaty to me to do it that way instead of waiting for the Rumor and blueprint Idea, but right now the balance is awful and I enjoyed myself a lot more once I just went there. It doesn't make sense to wait right now because the Demon is probably harder than any other boss, and definitely harder than any "normal" fights you'll get on the Island.

i just randomly made a row boat and then sent one guy in to get gold and later gold ore so i could grind making gold chest plates and forest amulets. if you need easy food get a lot off chickens so you can put them in the animal stables so they can produce eggs to go into stoves and become omelettes or on the island grow limes for the fishing traps so you can get tuna to cook.

Thanks for the advice. Everything worked out as planned. Got to the island, got gold to mainland, made chestplates and amulets for all 14 ninjas and tried the demon again. No problem any more. The stun worked fine and not even a single of my fighters died. Stupid that i have to go to the island first for this (since origninally its meant the other way around) ..... but the end result count and i got though the game now (Also killed kraken with ease as well as the enemy from the cathedral and the witch).
