Gameplay area no longer increasing when i make sheds/warehouses

Prior to the dark forest update i never had this problem, the area where my cards could be would constantly get larger as i got more and more storage cards, however this seems to no longer be the case as after about 60 sheds and 40 warehouses the area hasnt gotten any bigger since i had even 40 sheds and a couple warehouses. Is this a bug or am i missing something new that the update added?

Nah it was already capped, even before the update. You just didn't reach the limit up until now.
My current save (which is pre-patch) have 580 worth of storage, and the area capped before this value for me (don't remember how much, it was a while ago).

It has always capped for me somewhere before 5 sheds + 5 warehouses.

If you would like bigger screen cap (higher potential size if you build more sheds / warehouses), there is a mod for that. I think its called "LargerBoard" or something like that...

According to the Larger Board mod's info "there is an upper limit which is reached after just 21 Sheds or 6 Warehouses (or a combination thereof)."

There is another mod which makes buildings that can store other cards to reduce clutter:

I haven't used either yet, but thinking about it since late game the board can get pretty dense.
