Silence The Yappy Dogs Please

So having a little sound effect for a card is cute, the first time. After that it gets really annoying every time I want to move a dog from one job to another or have them perform lots of different tasks that I don't have stacks of cards for, like one Tree, one Rock, one Berry Bush and so on.
I had made two Dogs in my run but sadly they both had an "accident" with a Wolf because they wouldn't shut up with their yapping. And due to how loud they were no other Wolves became my friend as Bones just got sold off.

Please either add an option to silence just the dogs and not ALL sound effects or make it so a dog only makes the bark sound effect the FIRST time you click on it after getting it, with maybe an option to disable THAT as well for the people who like the repeated sound effect.

Agreed, this really needs to be fixed or an option created. I like dogs and I don't like having to kill them because their bark is so loud

Agree. Its funny the first time. 10th time annoying. 100th time looking to kill dog.

Came to discussions to say exactly this!!
9 months later and the dog is still OBNOXIOUSLY much louder than all the other sound effects

This is the ONLY reason that I NEVER use dogs for anything -_-

Is cat loud? I never found one yet but maybe that can be a quieter alternative...

Edit: to clarify I haven't ever had interest in using dogs or cats...plain old villagers have been just fine for me.

I was just asking for those who want to use dogs but are bothered by the barking.
