Report a translation problem
Edit: it say in the guides that it's in old village, mountain, graveyard or forest.
I was digging through all types of locations symultanously. I guess I can try to revisit the game and dig more, but I don'treally believe the RNG may be hitting that badly.

I think the easier way will be to get lots of villagers then kill them for lots of graveyards, build a temple, then see if a catacomb pops out.
I can confirm the temple doesn't matter, it's just bad RNG. I had a temple with 8 graveyards all going for about 12 cycles, then I FINALLY got a catacombs from one of the graveyards. I started on round 34, and it popped on round 46.
Graveyards are easy to get and make more graveyards over time, so with enough explorers (or swordmen if you have the food) you will eventually get it.
Yeah, two corpses = graveyard.
And one way to get corpses is make more villagers and use the bears to turn them into corpses!
