Failed Geld Nas test?

I tried taking the Geld Nas test when I found their underground tower. Part way through the last game I was notified that I'd failed the test. I don't understand why though. My character was still alive and fairly healthy.

I just did that tonight. There are a # of stages; get to the nearby pillar for clues on what you need to do. The 1st stage is pure combat (aka ambush); you can and should avoid fighting the big brutes in stage 2 (though I killed the closest one). Pay attention to what the test is about there, though and move to the last, 3rd stage. The pillar gives you a clue what to do...then, well, I won't spoil it. My guess is you didn't read the 3rd clue for that last test and that's how you failed.

Hmm, I don't recall seeing any clues at all. I'll take another look, thanks.

There are stone pillars in each area of the challenge. When you get close to them, there is a text clue message of what to expect or do in that area.

Hmm, it seems that the test is kind of buggy also. As suggested I went back to investigate and see what I did wrong. I saw what was written on the pillars, then I went back to the head of the Geld Nas. I was able to tell him that I'd finished the test without taking it again and he was willing to trade with me at that point.

There is a case where this can happen, and it will be fixed in v102.

Hi Jeff - would you please provide an estimate of when v102 should drop? Of course, you'll need enough time to properly test all bugfixes before finalizing the patch. Still, since this should address several quest-related bugs and I'm hoping to start my playthrough soon, I'm interested. Thanks!

Probably 2-3 weeks. Honestly, I wouldn't wait to start the game. Everything fixed is pretty minor tbh.

I can't figure out what the new enemy is in the last room after you get the message that the mage isn't the target.

It's just outside the room, near the door you entered from.

I can't seem to take the test at all. I asked to take it, and the leader gave me the key that said it would unlock the door, but none of the three doors in the tower will let me pass. Unless the test is elsewhere and I just misread something?


...Never mind I am apparently loosing the sight in my good eye and missed the stair case in the tower.
