Hopefully it's for fixing bugs such as the invisible zombies, among other issues such as people with the quest sometimes not being able to play at all and the stuttering issues I keep reading about but haven't really seen in my own gameplay. I'm sure the list keeps going but it's only been about a week since the game released on PC. It being so buggy is disappointing to an old gamer like me (Back in MY DAY yadda yadda yadda), but not unexpected. Games like this are incredibly complicated compared to the days of SNES, SEGA Genesis, and 90's PC games. Fix one bug, and three more things break. Even with the best team available it'd probably still take them a dedicated year or two to fix almost everything. Frankly with this only being the first week it's been out I'm impressed it only took them this long to get a fix-patch this big.
Yes, the buggy release was a bummer. They seem to be putting in quite the effort to fix it. Thats great news, i hope i can change my review after today.
The performance for me was not all that great but that is not why i gave it a negative review. Progression feels so buggy.
Yeah they broke the game in Virtual Desktop. Facebook probably paid them to shut it down in Virtual Desktop so their less featured and less updated Oculus Link won't be shamed.
from VD patch notes:
**• Fixed compatibility with: Blade & Sorcery, TWD: Saints and Sinners - Chapter 2, Not for Broadcast VR**
I bet VD broke it on purpose so that everyone would think that Facebook broke it on purpose so that everyone would buy more copies of VD just to spite Meta.
