6 digit save import code

Also trying to figure out how you get your 6 digit code to import your save. Why can't the game just look at your save file? How is this not listed anywhere from the devs? This has not been the greatest of launches.

I've spent the last hour trying to figure this out. Why have the option if it can't be used?

Open the first game, at the main menu theres an export save button. This generates a 6 digit code. Screenshot that and type it into Chapter 2 when you start a new game.

I opened up the first one and clicked on export file saved. It generated a 6 digit code that I used in chapter 2. It worked and now I am playing with all the gear I had from the 1st one. That is great.

so wait i dont even have that option on my chapter 1 how do i get the update?

Same, I spent ages trying to find any option in S&S 1 so I could export my save. Nothing there.

Odd as when I reinstalled s&s1 on the splash screen for new game,load game etc it has an option to export save file.

I had to update the game to get the generat code option to show. Its right on the main screen.

I'm changing platforms and have already played Ch2 for a few hours. Can this be used to import progress from Ch2 on another platform? Or is this only for Ch1 importing to Ch2?

it isn't letting me use the six digit code. It says "enable import" instead of "import" and when I click it, it does nothing

A little late but If I use a code from an unofficial version of the game will it still work?
