bonelab is not a dud though, they are just taking a long ass time
Oh you sweet summer child. You really think an update is going to fix Bonelab? The "campaign" was d.o.a.
There is no way slz is going to fix the campaign. They might eventually release their full sdk, or maybe include a new mode or two, but the campaign was a huge disappointment and nothing is going to fix that.
Or, of course, this could be it. Most of the commonly occurring really annoying game-breaking bugs have been fixed, after all. Not all, but most. I miss the days when games were tested before being released. Sure, it would have taken longer to release, but we'd not have had nearly the issues we did up till now.

They put a lot of work into the original game over a long period of time. It had a lot of problems too. They even released free DLC that added a good amount of content.
