You can instead pick a chapter on the main menu.
so I know this was posted a while ago but I was wondering the same thing. For me the actor's story sort of ended abruptly..I thought I was to go back for one more chapter but guess now..anyway..that said I guess since there are a couple of ways to go with the stories and also achieves not all done I can play again at some point ( no idea how people remember not to do the same things so they end up being able to get the other endings, achieves etc, lol) but I was surprised once back in the lighthouse and back in the writer's story it was like her's came to an end and then my menu only had start new story, not continue so does that mean we just go to start the musician and daughters , via the menu ? Also should we play the directors after everything?
Hello, I'll try to assist you. First of all, the floating apple moment - the golden path is to turn back just after you interact with the apple. So the door that was closed will be open after the interaction with an apple. We are aware of problems players have at this specific moment, but we couldn't reproduce it on out side. If you could provide a video recording of what's going on there, maybe we could figure it out together. On our side the doors are simply open after the interaction and we can progress.
The second thing is game saving problems - I think this could be related to the save system the game incorporates and confusion that some players may experience. We have two separate progress threads, so to speak, one is the story mode that is loaded when we hit "continue story" or overwritten after choosing "new story" on the initial screen. The second is chapter mode that is loaded when we hit the chapter thumbnail in the chapter select screen, on "continue" tab, or overwritten when choosing any other chapter. So these are two separate game progresses. If you have any other follow up questions, feel free to ask.
All the best!
