If you look at every games that've been developed by Bloober Team, you will know that they tend to make average or below average quality games.
Their track record is bad, and they helmed the development of one of the most legendary psychological horror game ever made.
What do you think about that?

Blooper team has not made a game I do not like so to each their own. This re-imagining makes all these games even better from what I have seen so far. Layers of Fear/Observer/Blair Witch/Medium have all been solid games. I thought Layers 2 was no quite as good as the first. Maybe some of that is fixed in this, I have not got that far. Some people just do not get or understand what they are trying to do. IGN would be a good example. Giving Outlast a better score than the original Layers even though it leans on a monster chase mechanic to invoke fear. I am not hating on Outlast but I prefer this type of horror. I believe Silent Hill 2 will be amazing and a developer mentioned there was another big game on the horizon. I am stoked.

The only reason for doubt I see is that they specialize in psychological horror adventure games, not survival horror. Then again, they are really talented and competent when it comes to the said psychological horror, and the ability to create the necessary atmosphere might be more important here than lack of experience in certain game mechanics. And yes, as it's been already mentioned above, their games are visually gorgeous. Basically, I believe Silent Hill is in good hands.

I used to diss Bloober, but I enjoyed their last two games (Layers 2 and Medium), so I have hope.

I didn't really expect that they can make a good game out of Layers of Fear 1 (or the sh*tshow that is Inheritance), it's too flawed for that, and they didn't, but it's okay, it's just a re...something, so it doesn't really count in my eyes.
