Tried this game as I love puzzle games.

Pros:
- Easy for most computers to run
- Simple controls
- Voice acting is present

Cons:
- The translations are off
- It is mostly running back and forth
- The game had the characters clipping through themselves

I commend them for the attempt made but it really isn't super polished or anything. It's not that I think it's bad, I just don't think it's necessarily worth the price. I give it 2/5 riddles.

Completed the game multiple times. It is a short hunt for the answers to riddles game that has a small story to go along with it. The riddles for the most part are pretty simple as well as finding the objects to complete the riddle. There are times that the object is small enough that you are guessing that it is what answers the riddle. I had no technical issues and should run easily on just about any system. Graphics are good for an Indie game.

Under The Moon is a spin on the hidden object genre, incorporating riddles into finding the hidden objects. The game is relatively short (~1-1.5 hours) and straight-forward, and is thus most appropriate for younger players. There seems to be some minor translation errors making some riddles difficult to understand (particularly given that many incorporate puns, and thus the wordplay is rather important), but you can relaunch the level and hope you don't get that particular riddle again if you can't figure it out. The developers are responsive to feedback as well.

Given the length and complexity of the game, I think the price as-is is too steep. I would recommend the game to younger players at a fairly steep discount (~50+%). If you regularly play puzzle games or are looking for something longer/even moderately difficult, I think you would be disappointed with the game.

Interesting experiment that doesn't work. The game has you running up and down four streets, each in a different city, and searching for items. Your only clue is a riddle that fits the item most of the time, but some need work; English isn't the main language here. To avoid frustration, switch to easy mode that marks all items with a glow.

Even though items are random for each new game, they're still picked from a limited number of items per street. The problem is that nothing interesting happens and it feels like it's always the same long street despite different art. There are people walking around in clothes appropriate for the city, but they don't feel "alive". Also, achievements don't work.

"Chill puzzle game" is a way to describe it. Has a narrative, I think it's something valuable for a puzzle game. Also, cute graphics. Multimap option is nice, you don't have to stuck in one place. I bet it'll get much better with updates.

If you have some time to spend the game is definitely worth a try. Riddles are relatively easy but ok for a casual game. It's a short game so give it a shot.

Kinda good, especially for the price. Riddles were pretty good, graphics are by far the best part of this, but the story kind of hooks you as well, overall pretty fun game if youre into riddles

I actually bought it without much expectation. I've finished the game several times. It was not easy for me to see the end of the game. Some puzzles can be really challenging at times. The number of chapters and puzzles can be increased and perhaps the difficulty level can be added. Also, apart from a few minor bugs, I haven't come across anything that broke the fun of the game.

Figure out riddles and find the answers to them throughout the level in this unique take and mix of Riddle (Puzzle) Adventure + Hidden Object Game where you play as Ali Kemal who is on a quest to solve riddles left by his beloved crush.



Hidden Object Games are no stranger to having puzzles in them, in fact they go hand in hand and would often feel awkward without at least one. Fundamentally this is what Under the Moon is, a hidden object game with riddles as its puzzles. Every level consists of a number of riddles we have to solve by figuring out what the answer is, then we are tasked to find that item within the whole level. This may seem tedious but the levels aren’t big so navigating them isn’t a chore.

Exploring the level is where one can appreciate what each gives. Every level in the game currently has their own unique identity to them together with their own music that fits the theme of the level. Each level is well made in a sense of how they look, sound and charm that comes with them. Granted being a platformer layout type of game where the level just goes left to right and vice versa.

Story-wise one can’t be faulted for saying it’s the weak point as the only slight emphasis to it is at the start. From then on it's the riddles and hidden objects that take center stage. Furthermore it does not link well to the game itself and feels out of place, but that could change and be improved as the game is still currently actively under development in Early Access.

I do think that Under The Moon is an interesting and passionate title to look on because it carries over the spirit that can be seen along with the greatest and earliest side-scrollers and point & click puzzles in gaming history such as Monkey Island and Bladerunner. Though that's just something that they theorically have in common. In a practical sense, the gameplay is quite considerably different, compared to these early examples of the genre. It is rather a diffedent game where it doesn't necessarily -unline many others- want to keep the audience in a loop of constant failures and tryings, and shines in a simple and beautifully illustrated way.

The story is developing around the riddles. A short but certainly meaningful story about true love which at some point, is quite a relatable topic for anyone since everyone can feel such emotions towards someone or something at some point in their lives.

The game is consisting of many levels and has a large scale of riddles. With the updates, there will be 100 or so riddles so that's nice to see that the dev cares about the game. It's not that easy to come by with such a game that's literally full of riddles these days. So, that's a plus in my book. More of a casual, relaxing, undwindy puzzle game I would say.

For the record, I just loved to listening to the environmental sounds, traditional eastern music, sfx and especially cliché -even banal- Turkish words that are spinnin' around like a fidget. Brings me to my childhood. To the good old days. That's just beautiful. And frankly, you can clearly see the effort behind this project.

Under The Moon is a solid 8 to me. I don't and surely cannot know what you are thinking about it but when you try to give some thought to it, you can see what I was telling you the whole time lies still, in the game, as a fact. That's what gaming is -or was- really about, right? It's all about passion and love because without these, there is no meaning at all.

All in all, it was an enjoyable adventure to the core.
