At the moment the only option we have seen that has worked is to delete the saves and reinstall the game.

If you like DC heroes and have a small child who likes videogames, you can't go wrong with this one when it becomes stable. But considering as things are now, stay away from this game, especially if you intent to play it with a child.

We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue with DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos.
We have fixed this bug with the latest patch, please make sure that you are on the latest version.
The bug was the result of two prompts to exit the sewers, one on the door, and the other past the door. The prompt at the door led to exiting the sewer, but when you click on the other prompt, it doesn't lead anywhere and you ended up on the black screen.
Unfortunately, if the problem occurred, there is no other option but to delete your saves and restart the game, but the latest patch was created just to fix this issue so when you restart the game and get back to this point you will see there is only one prompt to exit the sewers, we removed the one that triggered the bug.
