Creating Scenarios?

I created a scenario but I wasn't able to use the choice of traction. For example a class 150/2 on a Transpennine Route. I own both the route Transpennine Route and the Cornwall Local route with the class 150/2.

I had to plump for a class 40 but it only gave me parcel vans not passengers coaches.

What am I doing wrong?

it will ask if you want to use "enable all trains" before you actually create the service. tick the box then create your service choosing start and end point (any stations in between too) then it will allow you to choose any train from any route. also it will not allow a train if its longer then the starting station which is annoying (understandable if its a terminal station)

Ok so i made a quick route simple (Penzace - St Austell) none stopping. And when i chose MK! C x12(loaded) coaches it gave mail coaches like you say, When i chose MK2 A x7(loaded) it gives you passenger coaches and only the rear coach is mail.

The rear coach will either be a bg or a guv.

yes. i used MK2 A coaches X7 6 are passanger 1 BG/GUV, MK2 B coaches also work and do the exact same. But Mk1 makes them all BG/GUV. if tour looking for 80s style scenarios, on tsw3 live community section search G49, Its someone called ThornabyTDM and they make very good scenarios, only you have to download A LOT of their liveries (if you want it to be correct).

When I try to set the scenario up it won't let me start from Penzance for some reason. I can start from St.Austell.

it doesnt let you leave Penzance P1 or and P3 isnt an option (only Arriving). This is 1 annoying thing tsw3 does across all routes is limit your choices but they do it for official scenarios.

So this is my scenario i made to test and works. I use the 47/4 BR Blu (change to scot) with MK2 B x8, Leaving Penzance P2 to St.Austell P2 (non stop).

the only reason i can think to not work from Penz is if the train unit is too long for said platform which will show the unit as red when choosing but Penz fits a 13car on P2

yeah that is 100% strange i tested that as well from leeds to manchester. and i can use either 2,4,6,8 car 150 depending on station lenght. worst luck you might have to re-install your game. Mayeb its the godmode mod i have but i dont think its that as i could use anytrain any route before having mod
