Cajon pass 3rd schedule impossible to climb
San Diego to Albegurque (G-sdgabq5-04) route. I start ok but after even if go against speed limits this train just gradualy stops at climb of 2% or so.

Nothing in training center helps really, this just lose speed and stops..it's again Sand patch grande.

I tried put independent on and gather power to max (145) but no help. No power to climb.
I tried put banking on but no help.

What I haven't tried is go 2nd locos and put banking there on..

I managed to gain power by using independent brake, even I lost speed I got power and when released brake it stabilized at speed X..is this the right way? pumping inde. brake for power?

If train stops to 0 mph I doubt this helps either, but as long I have momentum this helped.

I did not play this one,. Some services are not working properly. You try to select the AC44000 in the timetable, which is far more powerful (if you haven't). If the train has engnes at the rear, make sure to tunr om banking com in the lead engine. Also, you may need a lot of patience before all brakes are released. It may take up to 15 minutes!

Cool, sounds I am at the right path at least. I am doing now descend after that climbing schedule, nothing in training module AGAIN won't help.

in training they say minimum appli on auto brakes, and dynamic brake at max 30mph..with this tonnage I need to adjust auto brake and independent brake..dynamic is useless, I switched it off..trust that this train went down like a bullet.

There is a nice Youtube video on signals and techniques to get down the hill safely:

Gotcha, gonna watch maybe it says something more, dunno then if it is just per loco with X haul tonnage this might be the hardest., it was 15kt of haul and all I could do put auto brakes at 67 and play with independent brake more.

dunno if game adjusts inde. brake on other locos too in that caravan, there was at end and at middle two locos, with all of these i don't wonder inde. works so well.

Ok I watched the video, wasn't easy for them either, bail-off know-how was new for me and back brake pressure.

But they were driving with lousy haul, things gets horrible with 15kt haul.

Next time I save at top and rerun until got it..good they fixed saving bugs.
