UI Bug (gamebreaking) - Dialog Interaction + ESC key

Game Version: Demo - Installed 15 March, 2025

Details: When interacting with NPCs and Servants, if you have a dialog open and press the ESC key (habbit of mine), the ESC menu opens before exiting the dialog screens. This causes your dialog menu to stay visible in the UI after leaving the ESC menu, at which point you cannot interact with the dialog menu. If you haven't saved, or don't have autosave turned on, this can cause you to lose a lot of progress.

Suggestion: Please make the ESC key force close dialog menus before opening the ESC menu, or make dialog screens interactable after leaving the ESC menu.

same its worse in the building planner cause the escape key brings up the menu, but after that you are just stuck the escape key doesn't exit the menu or the planner you cant save you just lose progress over and over again because who clicks to close a ui screen no you hit escape of course like every other game ever made ever

In build menu you can go to save game, save and you can go out.
In dialogue you are stuck.

And yes its an very stupid bug, Esc take you out of other modes like build mode or dialogues. And this should be very simple to fix.

Hit J to enter the journal and you will be able to select the dialogue again. This will take you out of the stuck dialogue.
