Report a translation problem
Take the sand to a Furnace that you build, add charcoal and Sand. 1 sand = 1 glass. 3 glass = 1 glass bottle. Remember to turn the Furnace On to use it, and OFF when you are done (or it will keep burning the charcoal when you aren't there). Also remember to take the stuff when you are done forging.
Personally I think moving the deposits to the beach or the desert make more sense, but as its a free demo that I haven't paid anything for, I'm not complaining loudly.
