Baking bread in the campfire.

What am I missing. I have a campfire. It has wood in it. I put wheat in it. Turn it on. All the wood burns up and no change to the wheat. Can't finding any clarifying instructions about what I'm missing here. Help!

Yeah, I had that.
Apparently you have to put the wheat in after the fire is burning.

you cant make bread in a campfire use the one by house where you first start the game.

Oh, I don't think this is true. I think you can't bake bread until you ask the fisherman how to do it. (Devs, this needs to be clearer, if true and intended)

Alternately, you can craft a cauldron and you can cook everything that you can in the fire in front of the fisherman's house. Including bread.

i believe that you need 5 wheat for bread, so might be not enough wheat. Also, there is a cauldron on the hill behind the fisherman, can definitely make bread there

Yeah, I think that's right. But the quest implies you need 3. Well, I'll know better next time.

I baked the bread at the campfire, ate it, yet it still doesn't show the quest complete.

This is one of the recurring bugs still to be fixed, sometimes quests work, and sometimes not. There is a feature added in this version where you should be able to reset broken quests, but the fix must be fixed.

Just use the fire and pot at the fisherman's house out front this will clear the demo. get extra wheat.
