Assuming you mean GM mode, you need the class match-up; giant vs cruiser is the best. Title on the line, a match stipulation like Hell in a Cell, a high rivalry like level 3 and use a card to boost your match stipulation of choice. And a bit of luck. You don't need to do all of these, like the card isn't required if everything else is great.

If you mean matches in general. You have to put on a good show... Don't dominate your opponent and don't let them dominate you. start with little moves then build up to bigger moves. As you fight, taunt your opponent and show off to the crowed.... try your best to break out of a pin after 2 counts if it's later in the match. Only break out of pins fast if it's the start of the match.... and here is the biggest part, the one that people don't like doing but it's part of the show... you need to sell to your opponent sometimes, take bumps as they call it in the biz... I don't always get 5 stars because all the computer wants to do is beat you up, it doesn't like to sell, that's why you have to. but I get mostly 4 stars... 5 stars you really have to create a balanced fight with high risk.... also if you do other match types like iron man, weapons, tables,ladders, you can get to 4 stars very fast.
