Is it possible to update the roster after starting a GM save?

If I download some CC superstars or new DLC packs get released (Mia is coming soon too), am I able to add them to my current GM roster/draft?
I can't seem to find anywhere to do it so I'm guessing no, but haven't finished a season yet so not sure if it's possible in further seasons.

If not then this seems like a bit of an oversight with GM mode seeing as they release new superstars over the months, so I need to keep restarting my GM mode from scratch to use new additions?

Okay so when DLC pack 2 releases next week (I have the season pass) those superstars should start to show up in the agency roster without me having to restart a new save?

Sorry friend, I misread your post.

In order to get the new Superstar's from DLC you will indeed need to start a new save. HUGE oversight by them. I thought you were asking how to get the Super Stars you bought already.

I think the MyGM takes a snapshot or something similar of the current roster. Any additions need a new snapshot.

Users on the discord have reported that DLC #1 characters have shown in post-season Drafts of existing saves... though admittedly I haven't gotten far enough to verify that, myself.

Having to redo a MyGM.
I noticed some superstars I think have 2 maybe 3 different match specialties (so get 1 of their 2-3 default specialties if it isn't null)
Sometimes they aren't given one too.
Also, tag team works well together, that changes a lot, that seems to be random from what I noticed.

Was testing with Brie and Nikki Bella. They aren't always works well together. Be nice if over time that changed. But I'd also like to see, hardcoded defaults on superstars specifically if they are known known to work well together.

Kind of annoying starting a new MyGM and all sudden my favorites I like to have on my roster all sudden don't have match specialties or don't well with people they are suppose to or I am expecting that they work well together with.

Also, the created superstars specifically for MyGM, there are some that are missing when you start and when the draft happens when continuing I still see the same.

So thinking is those new DLC my thoughts is they probably won't show up. Only thing I haven't tried is allow creations and have the modify roster on. Cross fingers DLC comes into roster default ON.

Hmm I found an old tweet from last year from the official WWE 2K Twitter account regarding DLC characters.
They wrote this:
"Please note for MyGM, in order to see the DLC Superstars as free agents you will need to start a new saved game once the content is live. See you in the ring!"

So I'm assuming that will be the case for this year too that's a real shame. Now I feel like I don't want to bother playing that mode until all the packs are released otherwise I'll have to keep restarting my save every month.
