Is this broken or is just nobody playing? It makes no sense for me to keep playing and collecting cards if there's no online play.

You can't tell me that during peak times there isn't isn't a single person playing online to match with?

Theres no incentives for online play if you ask me.
If its just for fun, I think the normal online is better than MyFaction.

I do understand some of the achievements in MyFaction are play 100 quickplays.

Thats funny. I don't recall the rewards from quickplay, I just did 1 and got the lifetime and thats that.

Maybe if there was incentives for quickplay/online play more people would be doing it. Also if it was more fun, like team based. Get together with a couple friends and like 3v3 4v4 que up. Or PUG 3v3 4v4. 2v2. I'm not a fan of 1v1 its just too intense. If I'm playing I want to be competitive but have fun, not tense 1v1s.
But yes I think its incentives is why not many play it.

Play quickplay get hardly anything or grind Faction Wars. Nothing fun about Faction Wars really since a lot of people are just beating it ASAP.

They need to adjust Faction Wars make it tougher, like just have the opponents keep coming, I don't need to go back to the main menu. Make the AI better at early match submissions if everyone is resorting to that too.
I get the beat the game too quick with pin falls.

I do miss gauntlets, keep going on, pressure if you lose and start over (not so much if the incentives/rewards are bad though, Golden AJ Styles thats worth doing or a really good reward for high pressure matches)

The incentives are the driving force for everything in MyGM really. You aren't getting any briefcases or more than a briefcase, theres no incentives to it.

100 wins for x8 tokens? Should be x800 tokens if you ask me. Or a card 20 pack deck, 80000 MFP.
100 matches that is going to take a long time. Especially if those are wins too. x8 tokens. Thats funny.

I get it, valid critiques. I'm a collector by habit so I just like collecting the cards, but its cool to be able to put whatever you've gathered versus what somebody else has gathered.

It does have an advantage. The stats are hard coded. If you go into regular mode everybody is using max stat CAW'S or the highest rated Superstar's like Ripley, Bayley, or Reigns and that's it.

Now I can put the hurt on people still because I think player skill has more influence than stats, but still everybody uses the same couple wrestlers

it works man. it helps if you dont stay in the queue and keep going in and out. Now you cant always find a match but it isnt that hard. Just keep trying. Im almost halfway to 100 wins.

I find this true in other games with matchmaking like GW2, Quake Champions. Usually first game takes awhile but after that if you que up right away after match or stay in it another game comes quickly.

So nice to know 2K23 is like that too.

I’ve managed to get 4 matches. Won one and the other 3 just disconnect.

How did you win. Like do you overwhelm people with running attacks and stomping em or unresistable moves. Was the matches close or a blowout?
What about the one you won was that close or a blowout too?

I only played 1, I won it, that one was really close I was in control 60% of the time but it was close. I won by submission because they somehow kicking out after they ate 3 finishers. I wanted to win bad. Had one submission that they got out of super quick too, but the winning submission was easy. Makes me wonder if they was trying to disconnect or they had enough.
It was like 10 minute match. Maybe they had enough. Was trying to wear his fingers down from pinning him a lot. Thought I won it 2 times before I actually won it.
I don't think he got finisher on me, thankfully because I sure can't beat the super fast mashing, after 2 finishers, seems nearly impossible to me, I'm trying to get hang of the new pin system, I don't like button smashing. Rather do that submission minigame from 2K19/20

No, I try to wrestle reasonably I don't do the super overwhelm move because its cheap and just not fun. Plus people that do that are predictable. They get in a pattern and are easy to counter. I had the Sapphire Diesel I forget who I wrestled against. That Diesel is great at stunning though.

Since then I got the Ruby Dakota Kai (Dakota Kai is my BAE) So I really want to play some matches with it, but I can't get into any.

I don't think the other people disconnected on the other matches I think it was just the servers were crap. it happened within like 2 minutes all three times.

By the way, I've been trying for over 45 minutes and no matches. I tried sitting and waiting and I tried backing out and back in. Neither technique works.
