I Lost Everything!
Went to start up the game and saw that all my data is gone. I had cloud sharing set up for the game but now nothing is showing up. All my caws, arenas, save progress is all gone. How do I fix this? Looked up how to get into my cloud saves but they are not showing up in my files at all.

This game preps you to become a DBA. Don't rely on those automatic cloud updates, manually copy and paste into a created folder you control after certain points in game.

If you don't see it the cloud and your folder with the files, don't think there is a way because can't get something that is no longer there.

Maybe use a disk drill, I don't know how it works but sometimes when you delete files you can still recover them using some disk drill, if you not familiar with it, I don't recommend trying.

Happened to me aswell. Unfortunately, when the data is corrupted you are out of luck. I had to play through showcase again, re-download all my CAWs and other creations.

It's a bug that has been going on for years and they just can't fix it. You have to manually backup your save files.

You can find it under this directory: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/STEAM-ID/1942660

I backed it up in a seperate folder so i can restore it if it happens again. It's just very annoying at this point

This just happened to me. Lost everything. EVERYTHING. I'm so tired of this crap. This happened to me on 2k22 too. So I decided not keep my save files in cloud. A few days ago steam cloud was down. Today found out I have lost everything and have to start over. I am NOT going to spend hours and hours again redoing everything. This just kills my love for WWE games.

The weird thing is that there's an actual backup in that folder. Does it do nothing apart from eating more space?
