Do I have to do the goals in the showcase mode ?

Like it says through the enemy out of the ring and stuff like that, do I have to do that or can I just play and pin and win ? because I kinda find it annoying to have to do random stuff, I just wanna play and win

If you want to unlock everything in the mode, you have to complete the goals. They are meant to simulate what actually happened in the match, even if it's not move for move.

I honestly ignored them after a couple combats, it doesnt worth your time. Most of them are just random mess, waiting 15 minutes for the opposite player doing what is supposed to do toy let you do a counter or whatever.
I think my time worth more than that, no matter what you unlock, it wont worth it.

I don't remember having any issues like that when I went through Showcase and I unlocked everything there. Sometimes you had to make sure someone was stunned or building your bar to set up a particular move (which you'd have to redo if you missed it), but that was as difficult as it got from a technical standpoint.

Some youtubes had the same issues as me, sometimes you have to make some counters or things you have the opposite dude to make.

Its an unfun mode, I recommend skip it entirely, doesnt worth it. Time has more value :D

I disagree, I enjoyed going through it, but everyone experiences things differently.

There may have been a couple of tasks that were harder to complete like getting a certain number of counters but they didn't break the mode for me. I wouldn't say it was a waste of time and trying to unlock everything was a challenge.

If you think it's not worth your time, fair enough. Just go out and win each match without worrying about the tasks to get the story of the Showcase.

Sure, fortunately the game has different modes, so to each their own. That is great.
However I dont like the idea to have to go in a mode you hate just for unlocks, if they are wrestlers. Honestly they should be available via points, even if you need a lot, more than in showcase, that would have been great, so each one could play the modes they want for the rewards.

And ofc I was talking just my opinion, each one has theirs.

The ai is trash in showcase, the entire mode is basically meant to keep little timmy from banging his helmet on the wall. Clear it fast, and skip every garbage cut scene
