Custom tag teams attack each other in the Royal Rumble

Anybody know a fix for this? Base tag teams don't attack each other but any custom made teams do.

The game literally has a feature for factions to work together in the Royal Rumble. The feature is just completely broken for any custom teams you make.

On my stream a viewer was saying that the wrestlers need to be set as "Friend" to each other in order for this to work.

Faction doesn't matter but the friend setting does.

I was thinking this. But is there any way to change the friend setting in the normal play mode? I only know it exists in universe mode.

Unfortunately not that I can find.

Friends used to be included for edit under Options > Roster. However, the option is no longer included there. I know it was there in 2K19. Not sure when they removed it.

Not holding my breath, but perhaps they'll patch it back in at some point.

Hoping so too. Tried starting a universe mode save and then saving the changes I made to their relationships to the play save, but unfortunately it didn't work.

one of the advertised features of this game was teams would not attack each other in a rumble they even showed a video where the bloodline was not attacking each other in a rumble
