the only way to get the currency to unlock stuff is to play exhibition matches?

i beat all the showcase mode and a bunch in my rise and i have 0 points to unlock anything....

they dont give you any points for playing a match. i got 47 points i would need to play 200 matches to unlock one superstart... and you only get points for play exhibition matches

try to get a 5 star rank to get 1k points by doing regular matches.

The game is meant to last you at least a year. And it's not 200 matches for a Superstar if you're getting 47 points a match, it's 22.

Are points only via Exhibition? What about Universe?

I think the point in playing the game, is to enjoy it.

I could be wrong, but I think I "might" be onto something here....

You get a lot of points during Universe Mode. I only play the rivalry matches by myself and after every show I got more than 1k to unlock the next Superstar.
I just keep wondering, that only my Exhibition matches go into the in-game statistics so it seems, that I just 3 Matches. I'd love to see, after one year in Universe Mode which wrestlers I played the most with and how I win or loose a match.

I just played the first randomly-generated Universe Mode match I came across (Jey and Cody vs the Street Profits). I assigned myself to the manager who happened to be there, no idea who he was, and walked over and punched the guy on the opposite apron a few times until I got kicked out. A few minutes later when the AI finished fighting itself (I was roasting potatoes) the game awarded me 1125 WWE monies. So there's my data.

Just play universe.
It's fun and you get a lot of points for playing matches.

It's almost as if people don't want to play the game they just paid for.

If you're only looking for the unlocks, check out the SuperCharger instead. $4.99 to unlock all the 'purchasable' content.

I play Exhibition matches on a higher difficulty on Hard i get alot more points then i have 4 or 5 Star Matches dont take long to unlock them all

That there is a paid "unlock everything" is a sign that yes, this IS all about a cash grab.

When a DLC isn't new content but merely "unlock stuff we agree you already paid for but then hid behind a time/pay wall"... that's greed. Not effort or good game design.
