Removing the straps ?

I saw a video where Undertaker removed his straps against Cena in showcase and continued wrestling without them , this was an awesome feature in 2k19 , is it back for Taker and Kurt and other wrestlers who wears straps for exhibition ? Or is it only exclusive for the showcase ?

actually if its exclusive to showcase it proves they aren't lazy it means they went out their way to animate it but locked it to a single mode

Doesn't the actual removal of the straps in the case of Taker occur in a cutscene, rather than open gameplay?

Happens during a cutscene, yes.
There are more unique interactions you can't seem to use, f.e like Hogan's shirt ripping.
