How is the controller support for this game?

So far it feels better at least to me. Allows me to actually properly use my Dualsense from the start without launching into big picture mode.

With 2k22 my controller would allow me to fiddle in the menus but if I went into an actual match, without booting it from big picture mode, it wouldn't respond and even sometimes flat out wouldn't recognize it in base exhibition. So I'm glad they seemed to fix it from 2k22.

I have the PS5 dualsense but I don't know how to get the PS5 controls to appear instead of the Xbox ones

I'm using PS5 DualSense and everything presents correctly.
Make sure your Steam Input is disabled as the game supports DualSense natively.

its one of the few games out there, that i do not recommend using keyboard and mouse, a controller on this game is almost a must have

It does not support DualSense natively cos I'm using a black PS5 controller and via bluetooth, every other game works but Steam controller settings has steam input set to disabled yet it does not do anything when it says "press any button to continue"

Dunno if you managed to resolve, but in this very moment I have solved the same issue.

Start the game
Shift-Tab
Controller settings
Disable steam input
Exit game
Enter game again
Voilla

I am also using Ds4Windows - dunno if it has anything to do with it or not.

Vibration not working when using dualsense not talkin about haptics there is no vibration at all

it is a console port so controllers work well.

Unfortunately no Dualsense vibration will not work because 2k uses dualshock 4 input in game, even in wwe 2k24.
