In "The Legacy" you unlock 2 Molly Holly's and her Mighty Molly Alter Ego
The story is pretty simple; you're a wrestler fighting all kinds of jerks who want the title you got on your first match. It doesn't work how you would expect showbiz to work at all; you don't have a manager and crew who set you up with shows and tours. Mostly you take challenges from bozos who harass you in person or on social media, meet them in the ring, and beat their faces to where their mothers won't recognize them. I assume this is how the WWE wants people to think their wrestlers live their lives. You have to follow WWE rules though, which is to say there aren't a lot (you can't really deviate) but when The Miz says your upcoming cage match has to be fought French-style, that means you have to escape the cage and pinning him is pointless, and them's the breaks (because apparently he knows these things? Nah, he probably doesn't.) Hopefully the really hardcore rulesets don't come too quickly, because I can't do 8-man ladder matches or 30-man royal rumbles with my newbie skills, and I want to enjoy the game for another little while.
You can import a wrestler from your creation suite roster when you start MyRISE, and although their stats don't carry over, you start with a decent base and you'll get to upgrade them as you complete challenges. You also unlock a number of CAW outfit pieces and you always have full access to character creation and moveset, entrance and victory customization. In the story I'm going through (The Lock, for male characters) you don't get to use your own outfit for a little while. For about the first chapter (a few hours) you have to use the dumb outfit your boss chooses for you, because apparently they know better and "you have to trust the process".
You have to do a number of tag team matches and so far you're always teamed up with the same guy who is entirely orange. His tights are orange, his skin is a different shade of orange and his voice, if you were synesthetic, would also be orange. He's a chill enough dude but I don't want to hang out with him for the long term. The game doesn't let you customize a tag team partner and that's a shame because it would have been great. I have to assume the story they wanted to tell doesn't allow it.
I think that's all I have to say for now. There's another story, called The Legacy, where you are a lady. I haven't started that one yet. I just imported a dude right off the bat and the game never told me what story I was getting into; it just assumed I knew from how my guy identifies sexually (an apache helicopter. Nah, not really).
