How well does the PS4 controller work?

I'm thinking of buying it. I've always played the series on the PS4. Now I'm thinking about buying it for PC, but I keep reading that controllers don't work! How does it work with the PS4 controller?

I play most games on Steam with a PS4 controller and haven't had any major problems with it. Biggest complaint is that most games are going to give you Xbox button prompts.

USB = correct prompts, wireless or bt will be xbox?

If using a controller, plug it in before launching, I get forced to use keyboard in matches otherwise.

Works awesome man. No PS Button Prompts tho for me (For some it works It seems) for whatever reason. I'm stuck with Xbox Prompts.

Don't need any 3rd party software. Plug n Play... or Connect BT n Play!

It's plug and play. No remapping required. I've been playing wrestling games since ps2 days. Love this new one.
