Over 4 hours lost because of 2 corrupted saved games, can't create a CAW roster

Just got the game today, first time I downloaded around 30 CAWs and when I went to download a logo, the game closed, once I opened the data was corrupted, I still wanted to play so I started doing the same and downloaded the same caws again, then when I was downloading an Ethan Page CAW, AGAIN, the game closed, corrupted data and all the downloaded caws lost, like, is community creations a damn russian roulette where anything can destroy your save? because it's never been this way in previous years and I'm really scared to invest any time in this game if any download can destroy it all damn, I also don't find a way to create security copies of my saves

check this video at around 1:26 https://youtu.be/9mxnETKb0yU?t=86 I read in some places that the saves should be located there, I turned off the cloud saving but even though the game keeps my settings and some CAWs I downloaded on my third try after losing two saves, I can't seem to find this save file anywhere, I don't remember the last time I paid for a game and was so frustrated because I already played a lot of hours and I really love it, I just want to have a roster of CAWs, something I've been able to do since Community Creations started in these games

The save data is saved in System > program files (x86) > Steam > userdata > *your steam ID number* > then the 2k23 folder is ID number 1942660.

Inside that folder is another folder "remote" then the 2 save files are located in there. Save those somewhere else for backup.

Turn off the cloud saves and just manually back up your save after each game session and keep multiple back up saves to be safe.

Did that last night and now I'm able to make copies of my saves thanks, been playing games for around 25 years and it's the first time I gotta do this lol but even if it's a pain in the ass, the game is fun enough to do it

WWE 2K22 had similar save issues so a lot of players just got into habit of doing this. Also in case I was not clear, just turn off the cloud saves for only WWE 2K23 by going to the game properties in Steam, not for all games on Steam as most games do not have issues with cloud saves.

2K20 and 2K19 had this issue too. Never played from 2K14-2K18 so not sure if issue was in those games too.
